Transduco joins forces with Messe Frankfurt Ausstellungen to build low risk entry platform into the German market

Expanded Transduco Pavilion at E.B.I.F. showcases latest financial technology offerings

London and Frankfurt, 19 June, 2007 – Transduco, the specialist provider of cross-border business development services for companies operating across the English, French and German speaking financial services technology sectors today announced the second Transduco Pavilion at the European Banking and Insurance Fair (E.B.I.F.) in Frankfurt, 20th to 22nd November, to enable financial technology suppliers to raise awareness and build a strong presence in the German market.

This year, Transduco is working closely with Messe Frankfurt Ausstellungen GmbH to expand the Transduco Pavilion.  Thomas Schuetz, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Ausstellungen said, “The first Transduco Pavilion at E.B.I.F. was a success, we are aiming for it to become the number one low cost, low risk and low effort entry platform into the German speaking market for financial technology suppliers.  Whilst space may be restricted, there is some capacity to grow the number of suppliers on this year’s Transduco Pavilion.”

Significant challenges exist for suppliers selling into German speaking markets, for example cultural, legal and language barriers.  It can be expensive to launch into the market and raise awareness.  As a result, domestic business and sales strategies may not easily be repeated.

“Trade exhibitions are a key channel for suppliers to raise profile, generate fresh business opportunities and forge new partnerships but they come at a price – both in terms of cost and resource.  The Transduco Pavilion offers the best of both worlds – a presence at Europe’s largest independent financial technology trade fair – at an affordable price,” said Stefan Mies, Founder and Managing Director of Transduco.

Previous exhibitors on the Transduco Pavilion include SWIFT Germany, ProfitStars, City Networks and Trace Financial.  These suppliers had full local language support and a prime position within the exhibition area.  Shared costs ensure the Transduco Pavilion is a cost effective method of generating exposure to the German speaking market.

Mies continues, “The Transduco Pavilion will allow suppliers to concentrate budget and resource on their core business secure in the knowledge that we have taken care of organisation and logistics. Suppliers who wish to enter or build on their presence in the German market can do so with minimal risk and effort.  The Transduco Pavilion frees up time and resources that can be better spent on value added sales and marketing activities and thus puts suppliers one step ahead of their competition.”

Transduco and Messe Frankfurt Ausstellungen plan a full marketing program to raise visibility and establish links with other organisations such as SWIFT and SIFMA, where Transduco will be meeting with interested suppliers.

“The availability of new suppliers to the German market enhances the attractiveness of the event for visitors by expanding the number of solutions that they can research in one place.  We look forward to working with the Transduco team and making this year’s Transduco Pavilion bigger and better,” concludes Schuetz.
