SWIFT to exhibit on the Transduco Pavilion ™ at European Banking and Insurance Fair
Transduco signs up internationally recognised standards body for second successive year
London and Frankfurt, 14 August, 2007 – Transduco, the specialist provider of cross-border business development services for companies operating across the English, French and German speaking financial services technology sectors announced today that SWIFT, the industry-owned co-operative supplying secure, standardised messaging services and interface software, will again exhibit on the Transduco Pavilion at the European Banking and Insurance Fair (E.B.I.F.).
The well established financial technology event takes place in Frankfurt, 20th to 22nd November, and will provide SWIFT with the ability to meet with clients and prospects and engage in discussions with the European financial community. SWIFT plays a key role in industry initiatives such as the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA), Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and encourages greater automation in the end to end financial transaction process.
“The Transduco Pavilion is a proven, cost effective platform that enables SWIFT to meet with financial services technology buyers and sellers into the German market, as we look to drive market adoption for our various initiatives. The first Transduco Pavilion at E.B.I.F. was a great success for SWIFT and the Pavilion concept ensures that we can once again concentrate our resources in the right area,” said Christian Kothe, SWIFT Sales Director for Continental Europe.
“We are delighted to welcome back SWIFT to the Transduco Pavilion at E.B.I.F. Their presence reinforces the business model for organisations that want low risk and low cost exposure to the German speaking market,” said Stefan Mies, Founder and Managing Director of Transduco.
The Transduco Pavilion is a cost effective method of gaining access to the German speaking market. Suppliers have full local language support from Transduco and a prime position within the exhibition area.
Thomas Schuetz, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Ausstellungen commenting on the return of SWIFT to E.B.I.F. said, “We look forward to SWIFT exhibiting again as they have an established reputation in the market and are a key player in the international banking industry. Their attendance serves to enhance the attractiveness of the event for our delegates.”
Mies concludes, “Demand for space at the second Transduco Pavilion has been strong, however there is the potential to expand the Pavilion for any late bookings. It confirms our view that there are companies who want to effectively target the German market without incurring time and resource overheads that distract from the main reason they are exhibiting – to meet with, network and present to customers, prospects and partners.”
